Tesla has recalled more than 475 thousand cars in the US over fears flaws could increase the chance of crashes.
The Irish Daily Mail reports the recalls account for 47 percent of the more than one million Teslas sold in America between 2015 and this year.
Regulators say they were concerned that the open and close mechanism on the boot of the cars could damage the cables attached to the rear-view mirror.
Tesla's said it was not aware of any crashes, injuries or deaths related to the issue.
