A new Survey out today shows only half of people questioned believe the Covid 19 Pandemic will end.

The Survey by the Irish Pharmaceutical Healthcare Association shows some of those surveyed believe the pandemic will never be over.

The IPSOS poll found that the Covid vaccination has altered the course of the pandemic.

SIPTU says it's been given assurances its members jobs won't be under threat if the Defence Forces are drafted in at Dublin Airport.

It's been told the contingency plan is Covid related and will be triggered if there's a spike in infections among airport security officers.

The airport's been dealing with cancelled flights and delays over the last few weeks, but there was only a 5 minute wait at security last night.
