Until now, they've been able to avail of a temporary scheme that provides public sector workers with full pay.
But that will end today for those with Long Covid, and they'll be moved to ordinary sick leave.

Five Aer Lingus flights from Dublin Airport have been cancelled today, due to a spike in Covid cases among staff.
