A Cork based Residents Association estimate that 1 in every 3 rental properties are not registered with the Residential Tenancies Board.

That's the experience of The Magazine Road and Surrounding Areas Residents Association who first began reporting unregistered rental properties to the RTB in 2017.

They say it's harder to resolve anti-social behaviour and other problems when rental properties are not registered.
