Gardai in Killarney are continuing to question a man in his 50's in connection with the murder of 75 year old Miriam Burns.
The Grandmother and Mother of four was found dead in her home in the Co. Kerry town on Monday afternoon.
Following a post mortem examination Garda immediately launched a murder inquiry - and shortly after arrested the man.

A relative of one of the residents of the Owneacurra Residential Mental Health facility has vowed to fight the HSE all the way.
She was responding to the news that some residents of the Midleton facility are at various stages of being transferred to Unit 3 of St Stephen's Hospital outside Glanmire.
The Mental Health Commission published a damning report on the unit at Sarsfield Court last December, calling its system of governance 'inexplicable'.

The Federation of Early Childhood Providers say they are not prepared to back down as the Early Learning and Care sector faces more closures with up 260 or more facing closure next year.
The protest centres on the New Core Funding which has left many providers non viable.
