Today is the 100th day of the Ukraine war, which has killed over 4,000 civilians.
Russia's full-scale invasion started on February 24th and has continued relentlessly since then.
Nearly 34,000 Ukrainian refugees have fled to Ireland - with 72 per cent in state accommodation.
Retired brigadier general of the Defence Forces, Ger Aherne, says the war has had devastating consequences.
"Certainly there are no winners, only losers.
"there's loss of life, there's destruction of property, there is the massive refugee issue that's affecting all of Europe and beyond.
"Of course there's the economic turmoil that is resulting in higher energy prices."
