The total number of refugees to have now fled Ukraine is going to cross over 1.5 million in the coming hours.
That's according to the UN High Commissioner for Refugees, Filippo Grandi - who's in Moldova:
"I think that by tonight latest tomorrow, the total number of people that have crossed out of Ukraine will reach 1.5 million I think Poland yesterday. So in one day alone 100,000 people crossing, so it's going exponential"
