Angela Lansbury has been called "one of the last Golden Age of Hollywood stars" after her death at the age of 96.
The actress, who lived for many years in East Cork, who was known for her roles in Murder, She Wrote and Bedknobs and Broomsticks.
Lansbury was nominated three times for best supporting actress at the Academy Awards, for Gaslight, The Picture of Dorian Gray and The Manchurian Candidate, and won five Tony Awards.
She also raised millions for AIDS research and the fight against domestic abuse.
