Twitter's confirmed it's delaying the rollout of its updated verification system until after today's midterm elections in the US.
New owner Elon Musk previously announced people would be able to buy a blue-tick for $8 a month.
However, the social media platform's head of safety says it's been postponed as users could pose as public figures to spread misinformation ahead of today's vote.
