In the UK, the British prime minister has asked trade minister Conor Burns to leave the government "with immediate effect".
Downing Street says it follows a "complaint of serious misconduct".
The whips office in Britain says there are "allegations of inappropriate behaviour earlier this week".
Mr Burns has lost the parliamentary whip while the claims are investigated.
