In the UK, the family of Archie Battersbee has asked the European Court of Human Rights to postpone the withdrawal of his life-support treatment.
The 12-year-old was declared brain dead following an accident, and was due to have care ended this morning at a hospital in east London.
His parents say they've had offers of treatment from abroad.
But international law expert, Toby Cadman says, in 2017, the court ruled against another similar case.
