Liz Truss has been confirmed as the new Conservative leader and will be the next British Prime Minister.
She won the leadership contest with more than 81,000 votes from Tory members - compared to 60,000 for her rival Rishi Sunak.
Ms. Truss faces a daunting to-do list with spiralling energy prices and the cost-of-living crisis the top priorities.
She's promised a 'bold plan' to cut taxes and grow the economy and insists she'll 'deliver' on household bills.
