There is chaos at the heart of the British government this afternoon, with more than a dozen of the British Prime Minister's own MPs coming out to publicly say she should leave Downing Street.
Yesterday, the UK home secretary stepped down for breaking a ministerial code, criticising her ex-boss in her resignation letter and expressing concerns about the direction the Government is going.
Last night, Liz Truss' authority was questioned further with claims ministers manhandled Tory MPs into voting with the government in the house of commons
The Commons speaker, Sir Lindsay Hoyle, has ordered an inquiry:
"I have asked the sergeant of arms and other senior officials to investigate the incident to report back to me. I will then update the house. I remind members that the behavior code applies to them as well as to other members of our parliamentary community."
