A red extreme heat warning has been issued by the UK Met Office for parts of England next week.
The alert warns a risk to life is likely, with temperatures hitting 40 degrees celsius in England for the first time.
People are being urged to take precautions against the heatwave, and it could cause disruption to travel and infrastructure in the UK.
It comes just after Met Éireann issue a Yellow High Temperature Warning for Sunday morning through to Tuesday night.
