Ukraine's capital city is preparing for fresh attacks from Russia as Moscow threatens to step up its offensive.
It's after the sinking of one of Russia's warships, which the US says was hit by a Ukrainian missile.
Explosions have been heard near Kyiv this morning - the city's mayor says rescuers and medics are working at the site.
Police claim the bodies of 900 civilians have been found around the capital after Russian troops withdrew a few weeks ago.
MP Oleksiy Goncharenko, says the bleak picture is echoed across the country:
"Mariupol is destroyed. It's flattened. There is no more city of Mariupol. It's absolutely awful: half million population city - there is no such city anymore".
