A Ukrainian woman, now living in Buttevant, says she could never have imagined that she would become a refugee.
Victoria Sushko is a theatre sound-director from Odessa who fled Ukraine by car with her sister, brother-in-law, their three children and her dog.
She has worked in in Ukrainian theatre and opera for over 20 years.
Victoria left family, friends, her home and her career behind her when she escaped the war-torn country.
Speaking to RedFM News, Victoria described how it felt to have only one hour to pack her things and flee:
"I could never even think that I will be in this situation, that I am. Because when you have job, home, you have everything, and once you just... for one hour you pick all your stuff, all your... all your clothes that you can take with you and leave your home, it's really hard".
