Many Ukrainian refugees are suffering grave emotional and psychological trauma as they struggle to process their experiences of the Russian invasion.
That's also the experience of 23-year-old Ukrainian woman, Kateryna Kopachova, who is now living in Buttevant .
Kateryna told RedFM News that despite her best efforts, she can't help but think about the war, and is experiencing terrible nightmares which stop her sleeping.
So far, scores of bodies have been found in her home town of Bucha, following the withdrawal of Russian troops from the town.
Russia denies any involvement in the atrocities and has suggested they were staged.
Speaking to RedFM News, Kateryna hopes that time will help her heal
"In our minds, we still live in the Ukraine and we can't turn off this and live a normal life So I'm trying not to think about it but I can't at night, you know when you're alone, and you thinking about everything and when you have no news about your family you're starting to, imagine the bad versions of the future. So I am screaming at night, can't sleep at night, nightmares and in my nightmares, I see the situations that happened, what I have seen or what could be. Time will heal us maybe you know, only time"
