The Secretary General of the United Nations says energy firms are 'immoral' for profiteering, partly on the back of war.
Antonio Guterres says profits of some of the biggest oil companies of almost 100 billion dollars in just the first three months of this year represents 'grotesque greed'.
And he's urged world Government's to act to help vulnerable communities.
"I urge all governments to tax these excessive profits, and use the funds to support the most vulnerable people through these difficult times.
"And I encourage people everywhere to send a clear message to the fossil fuel industry that it is grotesque to punish the poorest and most vulnerable people, while destroying our only common home, the planet."
