The president of the European Commission, Ursula Von der Leyen has warned of consequences if it emerges sabotage is behind the gas leaks found in two major Russian pipelines.
Several countries say the ruptures in Nord Stream 1 and 2 have been caused deliberately, but Russia denies having anything to do with it.
The pipelines run more than a thousand kilometres under the Baltic Sea to Germany, and neither pipeline is operational.
Swedish scientist Bjorn Lund, says an explosion has caused the leaks.
