Four people are in a serious condition in hospital after they were reportedly hit by a lightning strike in Washington DC.
The two men and two women were discovered just before 7pm yesterday evening at a park just north of the White House.
Local fire officials discovered them in a grove of trees 100 feet away from the statue of Andrew Jackson.
