An ex-police officer in the US has been jailed for two-and-a-half years for his role in the killing of George Floyd.
Back in February, Thomas Lane was found guilty of depriving Mr Floyd of medical care as he lay under then-officer Derek Chauvin's knee in May 2020.
Mr Floyd's death in Minneapolis sparked global protests over racial injustice in policing.
