Vladimir Putin won't be attending the funeral of former Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev, because he is apparently too busy.
Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov says his work schedule won't allow him to attend on Saturday.
But Mr. Putin has laid flowers at the Moscow hospital where Mr. Gorbachev's body is being kept.
