There's a warning ECB interest rates could go up again.
It's after the European Central Bank decided to keep rates at their present level.
Economist, Austin Hughes says it's a relief for mortgage holders after ten successive interest rate increases.
He says another hike could be on the way but he thinks the ECB should cut rates:
"The bad news is that they're not ruling out a further interest rate increase, and are hinting that it will be a long time before rates are cut. I think that's a mistake from the European Central Bank. I think rates will have to come down in the first half of next year because already we're seeing signs of weakness in the euro area economy".
