The World Health Organisation says there's no evidence the coronavirus started in a laboratory in Wuhan.
It's after US president Donald Trump claimed he's seen proof that it did originate in a lab in the Chinese city.
Dr Mike Ryan, from the WHO, is dismissing the claims.
"We have not received any data or specific evidence from the US government relating to the purported origin of the virus.
"From our perspective, this remains speculative.
"But like any evidence based organisation, we would be very willing to receive any information that purports to the origin of the virus.
"The origin of the virus is a very important piece of public health information."
