The World Health Organisation says many healthcare workers got Covid-19 because they didn't wear personal protection equipment.
The total number of cases of the virus across the world has risen to 4.2 million.
TheWorld Health Organisation says there has been an 'alarming' number of cases among healthcare workers.
Maria Van Kerkhove, fromWorld Health Organisation, says in some countries, they account for over 10 per cent of infections.
"Some healthcare workers are getting infected inside the healthcare worker facilities.
"Early on in the pandemic and early on in countries where they were starting to see initial cases, many of those cases are identified in wards where they're not used to seeing infectious diseases, and in many of those words they're not wearing personal protective equipment."
