The number of people who have died of coronavirus across the world has risen to nearly 89,000.
There are now more than 1.5 million cases, including 435,000 in the US.
Over 4,500 people have died of the illness in New York City.
Maria Van Kerkhove from the World Health Organisation says many animals have also got the virus.
"We are aware of some pets that have been infected in households of confirmed cases.
"We're aware of two dogs that have been infected in Hong Kong, a cat in Belgium, and we've heard recently reports of a tiger at the Bronx Zoo.
"We're working very closely with our partners to look more in-depth at the role of pets, we don't believe they're playing a role in transmission but we think that they may be able to be infected from an infected person."
