Israel has announced a partial withdrawal of troops from Gaza.
The war is said to be gradually shifting to the next stage.
Over Israeli 100 hostages are still being held by Hamas while its reported at least 1,000 Palestinians are being killed each week.
Paul Rodgers, Emeritus Professor of Peace Studies at Bradford University says the Israeli economy is beginning to suffer:
"Basically, they're withdrawing some of their reserve troops, not least because, I think, the economy is experiencing problems because of lack of, particularly, skilled personnel and, I think, they're finding this necessary. We're being told that this is because the war is sort of scaling down somewhat. I think that's very difficult to believe. I mean, we're still seeing well over 1,000 Palestinians killed every week, week in, week out".
