Israel will be taking part in next year's Eurovision in Sweden, despite threats from other nations to boycott the competition.
The European Broadcasting Union says Israel's participation has been confirmed by the executive board.
It says this is a competition for broadcasters, not governments, and the event is "non-political."
However, Russia was excluded from Eurovision in 2022, just months after Vladimir Putin ordered the full scale invasion of Ukraine.
