Janssen Sciences Ireland is set for a major expansion at their facility in Ringaskiddy.
The Echo report that a planning application will be lodged in the coming weeks for the €150 million project, which will increase the size of the facility by 2,500 square metres.
Janssen have been operating in Cork since 2005, and it's believed the expansion will create 180 new jobs.
Local residents were briefed on the plans at an information meeting that took place recently.
