Evidence of far-right involvement in anti-immigration protests is of 'grave concern'.

That's the view of Labour Leader Ivana Bacik in response to a protest outside Finglas Garda Station in Dublin on Wednesday night.

She says other departments need to support Integration Minister Roderic O'Gorman in accommodating refugees.

Deputy Bacik wants a multi-departmental approach like that seen during the covid pandemic.

"I've called on the Taoiseach to ensure a strong, NPHET style approach, as we saw during covid, with the whole of government.

The Taoiseach should be taking charge of this,  to ensure that there is strong collaboration and support from all government departments, particularly the Department of Housing, and that this is not just left for the Minister for Integration to deal with."
