The Leaving Certificate is a "three week marathon" with cause for celebration.
That's the advice from a guidance counsellor to all students starting state examinations tomorrow.
The exams for Leaving and Junior cycle students kick off with English tomorrow morning and run until the 25th of June with Religious Education and Applied Maths.
Guidance Counsellor, Brian Mooney, says students will now get the chance to express themselves.
"When you sit down there tomorrow morning, the invigilator will come and give you that paper. you know, it's English paper one, you will decide what topics you're going to express yourself. You have prepared for this. You don't need to worry about this anymore. Effectively, all the preparation has gone into this moment"
