A woman living on the northside of the city fears that a child will be killed on her road if measures to stop motorists speeding aren't put in place.
Michelle Brosnan and other residents on Glen Avenue say they have been asking the City Council for speed ramps and zebra crossings for 4 years.
Recently an 11 year old boy was struck by a car in a hit and run but he has since made a recovery.
Speaking to RedFM News, Michelle Brosnan of Glen Avenue says the next child who tries to cross the road might not be so lucky:
He was on the footpath right outside my house actually. And he came out between two cars that were parked and a car came out and blew him clean up into the air. As far as I know he did end up in the hospital and he was very hurt. Now he's he seems to be okay but that road is just as too too way too dangerous. While I wouldn't wish it on anyone, there is going to be a child killed on that road."
