That's according to the lord mayor of the city who is looking forward to outdoor dining continuing into the winter months.
Fáilte Ireland launched a weatherproofing and dining enhancement scheme which will see Princes St and four other streets in the City centre become outdoor friendly from November.
Speaking to RedFM news Lord Mayor of Cork City, Colm Kelleher says the scheme will welcome people back into Cork City:
"The outdoor dining has been a massive success in the summer weather is a lot better in the summer. And so to weatherproof them for the winter, and to ensure that the permanent pedestrianisation of the streets can attract people back into the city centre is absolutely amazing."
