A lung cancer survivor from Youghal says there needs to be a screening for lung cancer.
Pamela Morrison was diagnosed with Stage 4 lung cancer after she spent a year going to the doctor with a long lasting cough and other symptoms.
Pamela says if there were screenings for lung cancer like there is for breast and cervical cancer then she would have been diagnosed much earlier.
Speaking to RedFM News, Pamela Morrison says there needs to be more awareness surrounding lung cancer:
"Well if you imagine with the cough that I had, just like if you found a lump in your breast, that if I was able to go for a quick check, it probably would have been caught a lot sooner."
