A man arrested after he was involved in a two car collision on the north side of the city yesterday has been released.
Two people were taken to hospital after the accident.
Gardaí and emergency services were alerted to a traffic collision on Bakers Road around 2 o'clock yesterday afternoon.
The collision involved two cars and there were multiple injuries.
A woman in her 60's and a man is 50's were taken to Cork University Hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.
A man in his twenties was arrested in relation to the collision and taken to a Garda station in the city.
Gardaí say the male who was arrested has now been released pending further investigations.
