A man in his 30s has died after crashing into a wall in Kilkenny.
It happened in the early hours of this morning and Gardaí are appealing for witnesses.
At around ten to three this morning, Gardaí attended the scene of a single car crash at Carn in Dunbell, Co. Kilkenny.
The driver - a man in his 30s - died after his car collided with a wall.
He was pronounced dead at the scene and his body has since been removed to St. Luke's General Hospital.
A post-mortem is due to take place and the road is currently closed to allow for an examination of the scene by Forensic Collision Investigators.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the crash to come forward.
Any road users who were travelling in the area at the time who may have dash cam footage is being asked to make it available.
