A man is due in court charged in connection with the murder of a man in his 30's in Youghal.
32-year-old Daniel O'Sullivan died after an assault at a bar on Main street on Monday night.
Gardaí launched a murder investigation last night after a post mortem on his body was carried out.
A man his 20's arrested in connection with the investigation has since been charged.
He is expected to appear before Midleton District Court at 10.30am this morning.
In a statement to RedFM News, Gardaí say:
Gardaí continue to investigate all of the circumstances surrounding the death of a man following a fatal assault that occurred in Youghal, Co. Cork on Monday night, 14th April 2025.
The male, in his 20s, arrested in connection with this investigation has since been charged.
He is expected to appear before Midleton District Court this morning, Wednesday 16th April 2025, at 10:30am.
