Man is in critical condition after a crash in Killeagh last night.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to the single vehicle collison.
The 19 year old man was involved in a crash on the N25 at Burgess Cross shortly after 8 o'clock last night.
He was taken to Cork University Hospital by air ambulance.
His condition is understood to be serious.
The scene is preserved for examination and diversions are in place.
Gardaí are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the crash to contact Youghal Garda Station 024 92200 or the Garda Confidential Line 1800 666 111.
In a statement to RedFM News, Gardaí said:
"Gardaí from Youghal attended at the scene of a road traffic incident involving a single car on the N25 at Burgess Cross, Killeagh shortly after 8pm on Monday 20th May 2024.
The motorist, a male aged 19, was removed from the scene by air ambulance to Cork University Hospital.
His injuries are understood to be serious. The scene is preserved for examination and diversions are in place.
