A man in his 20's has died after a single vehicle road collision in Carrignavar
It happened at the Republican Cross in Gortnaleehee
Gardaí, units of the fire service and the national ambulance service were alerted to the scene around 7 o' clock this morning.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene and the road was closed to allow for a technical examination of the scene
Motorists are advised that diversions are in operation
This latest death brings to 12 people the number of people who have been killed on Cork roads so far this year
