A man in his 20s remains in custody this morning after a 9 year-old boy died in a crash in County Donegal.
The child was walking on Atlantic Way in Bundoran when he was knocked down shortly after 9.20 on Saturday night.
The man is being held at a Garda Station in Donegal.
Bundoran Councillor Michael McMahon says it's a tragedy:
"It's a very sad day and a very sad day in Bundoran. Very sad day for everybody in the area here. People are really upset about this. The whole town is in a state of shock and that's the way it is."
