Paddington 1 and 2 were extremely successful and were proven to be the best family-friendly movies in recent years.
Paddington 2 scored 100% on Rotten Tomatoes and the two films combined made over $500 million at the worldwide box office.
This week StudioCanal confirmed the third movie is officially in the works. The writer and direction of the first two films Paul King won't be back for the third movie. The director said last year "At some point, you just have to stop. It might be time for somebody else to do a twist on it. No replacement has been confirmed yet however StudioCanal told Variety ‘’we can confirm StudioCanal is working very hard on film 3 with outmost craft and care as with film 1 and 2’’.
We are excited to see what is in store for Paddington 3!
