Reports are suggesting that In Bruges stars Colin Farrell and Brendan Gleeson have teamed up once again with the film's writer and director Martin McDonagh to film The Banshees of Inisherin in Ireland later this month.

Co-starring alongside the In Bruges pair will be Tipperary's Kerry Condon who previously worked with McDonagh in his Oscar winning film Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri as well as his critically acclaimed plays The Lieutenant of Inishmore and The Cripple of Inishmaan. Dublin actor Barry Keoghan is also set to star in the upcoming movie.

Entertainment publication Deadline has reported that Better Call Caul star Condon has joined the cast to portray the sister of Colin Farrell's character and that filming is set to commence soon.

The description given of the film says The Banshees of Inisherin "charts the story of a pair of lifelong friends on a remote Irish island who find themselves at an awkward time in their relationship when one of them no longer wants to be friends".

McDonagh, Farrell and Gleeson previously teamed up to create In Bruges which was released in 2008. The film that sees two hitmen who have to go into hiding in the Belgian city earned Farrell a Golden Globe award while Gleeson and McDonagh were both nominated for their part in the production.
