Around a million people in Ireland are expected to buy tickets over the coming weeks, to see the new James Bond film, which is out tomorrow.
The red carpet made a return as No Time To Die premiered yesterday in London, following a number of Covid delays.
Star Daniel Craig, who plays 007, said at the event he was relieved it could be experienced in the cinema, as originally intended.
Mark Anderson's the director of Omniplex Cinemas - he says it's years since there's been this level of excitement for a blockbuster.
"Advance ticket sales are incredibly strong, we haven't seen advance ticket sales like this since Avengers Endgame in 2019.
"It's a great vote of confidence that cinema is still a vibrant form of entertainment and will be long into the future."
