Electric Picnic Festival has been officially cancelled.
The music and arts festival was due to take place on September 4th-6th in Stradbally Co. Laois and there was much speculation over whether or not the festival would go ahead.
It has now been confirmed that Electric Picnic will not go ahead in 2020. The announcement came after many of their headline acts had already re-scheduled their concerts and festival appearances to 2021.
The organisers announced the unfortunate news on their social media profiles this afternoon and also posted a statement on their website here.
