Bruce Springsteen is set to perform in Cork next year.
The Irish Examiner reports that the American superstar and the E Street Band will perform at Pairc ui Chaoimh in April as part of his world tour which will also include two dates in Croke Park.
It's understood talks are ongoing between Aiken Promotions and Pairc ui Chaoimh officials to bring Springsteen back to Leeside - the 71 year old performed in Cork in 2013 to a sell out crowd.
At the start of the week speculation was high that country music star Garth Brooks would perform Leeside next year after bosses at Pairc Ui Chaoimh told local residents' groups that they have plans for a three-night concert in April next
No artist has been confirmed as yet for the Cork venue next year
