Nash 19 restaurant on Prince’s Street is the latest business to close its doors for good.

Soaring business costs have forced owner Claire Nash to close after over 30 years in businesses.

20 jobs will be lost and the restaurant will not reopen after its post Christmas break.

Speaking to RedFM News, Cork Business Association President Kevin Herlihy says the restaurant will be sorely missed:

"We're very sad to hear saddened to hear the closure of Nash 19. Claire Nash has been a driving force in business in the city and indeed within the Cork Business Association over the last 30 years and she'll be sorely missed on Prince's Street."
