A national shortage of buckets and spades is impacting stores across the country.
Ice cream sales have also gone "through the roof" with the good weather.
Joe Quinn of Bon Bon Summer Shop in Salthill says they're finding it very difficult to get beach staples like buckets, spades and inflatables.
"All suppliers are out of stock because of the ship that was coming from the Suez Canal, that was only released last Friday week.
"There was 18,600 containers on it. They supply all the stuff from England, and we get all our stuff from England.
"That's all the beach stuff - the blow up stuff, the inflatables, the swim rings, the buckets and spades."
