They're running from Mizen Head to Malin head to raise money for the Irish Cancer Society
Julie McMullin and Loretta Cullen, both living Ballyshannon, will start their epic challenge on August 18 and aim to complete it in five days.
It's in memory of their mothers both of whom died of the disease.
The fundraising element has proven extra difficult due to Covid-19 restrictions and so they are relying on line donations.
