Two people have died in separate crashes in Counties Tipperary and Mayo.
Seven other people have been injured.
A teenager has died following a two-car collision in Co Tipperary.
The crash happened on the N24 in Ballykisteen shortly before nine o'clock last night.
The 19-year-old man, was a passenger in one of the cars.
The driver of that car and another passenger were taken to Hospital - along with two people from the second car.
In Mayo, a man in his 50's died following a two-car collision near Swinford yesterday afternoon.
The male driver of the second car, was taken to hospital with serious injuries - and two other passengers are also receiving treatment.
Gardaí are looking for witnesses for both crashes.
