200 extra spaces will be made for medical students from EU countries wanting to study in Ireland.
The increase will be gradual, starting with an additional 60 slots in September.
That will rise to 120 in September 2023 and up to 200 by 2026.
It'll be funded jointly by the Departments of Education and Health.
